The quarter scale bikes from Italian maker AR Racing are among the most innovative RC bikes on the market. With a gyro built into the rear wheel the bikes are stable and fun to drive - and can even self-recover from the unavoidable crashes. The mechanical gyro works by the rotational forces of the rear wheel - in other words, it needs speed to remain effective.

This is the Rider's Version in cross configuration. We deliver the bike as a kit you assemble yourself which will give you a good insight into how the bike works and how to approach service needs.

Rider's Version is the latest from AR. It is ideal for most riders and is a durable bike that is fun to drive. The kit consists of

• Complete frame with suspension
• Wheels with cross tyres
• Mechnical gyro to be built into the rear wheel
• Rider doll from HPI
• Stickers for the body shells in four colors

Needed to complete is the ARX-EK-111 AR Racing 11.1V Electric Power Kit (e-gyro required for 11.1V, else use 7.4V kit) and one servo such as the Hyperion DS20-UMD digital high torque servo.

The bike grants it's owner many possibilities in upgrades and crossgrades.

Upgrade to electric gyro The mechanical gyro can be upgraded to an electrical system. Based around a brushless motor, the gyro disk is spun up electrically to one steady speed. The mechanical gyro works by the rotational forces of the rear wheel - in other words, it needs speed to remain effective. The e-gyro runs at a constant speed regardless of how fast you drive the bike.

Convert from cross to Motard The Motard conversion kit optimizes the bike from flat surfaces such as paved or indoor tracks. It is an easy conversion and once in ownership the bike really becomes two in one.

Convert from electro to glow power For those looking for additional challenges, the AR bikes can be converted to run with a .15 glow racing engine. The kit includes all necessary hardware.
